DIY Giant Yahtzee For Family Fun!

The Giant Yahtzee is a great way to spend time as a family outside. There are a few places to find some giant dice and you can make your own out of cardboard too!. We decided to purchase ours from amazon, but many stores carry the dice and most come with yahtzee scoring sheets as well. We used a bucket to hold the dice and to make the game feel more polished, we made a landing table for the dice.

The table was made with a piece of plywood (chip board) cut to 3 feet by 6 feet and framed with 2 by 3 boards. We had this material left over from our outdoor bowling setup. The artificial grass we stapled over the wood was left over from our outdoor water park. We printed out a couple Yahtzee logos and placed on a fairly level spot in our backyard.

We found the flat landing table helped keep the dice together and prevented dice from stopping in a divot, making it easier to decide which numbers were facing up.
